Drive to Melbot ( 30 minutes):
Embark on a scenic 30-minute drive from Pokhara to Melbot. The journey introduces you to the natural beauty surrounding Pokhara, building anticipation for the upcoming trek.
Start hiking to Astham Village (2-3 hours):
Commence your hike from Melbot to Astham Village at 8:30 a.m. The picturesque trek unfolds over 2 to 3 hours, offering glimpses of the local flora and fauna as you ascend.
Explore Astham Village:
Arriving in Astham Village, take a leisurely break to explore its charm. Immerse yourself in the serene surroundings and interact with the locals for a cultural experience.
Hike to Dhampus (2.3 hours):
Resume your journey trekking from Astham to Dhampus. The next 2.30 hours take you through breathtaking landscapes, as you approach the highlight of the day.
Lunch in Dhampus:
Reach Dhampus and savor a well-deserved lunch against the backdrop of the Annapurna Range. The panoramic views add a majestic touch to your dining experience.
Hike back to Phedi (1-1.5 hours):
Post-lunch, embark on the descent towards Phedi. The 1-1.5-hour walk allows for reflection on the day’s adventures and a gradual return to lower altitudes.
Arrive in Phedi, where your transportation awaits. Reflect on the day’s accomplishments and bid farewell to the trekking trails.
Return to Pokhara (45 min drive):
