Insurance
Guests participating in adventure activities must have appropriate travel insurance covering the activity. In addition, insurance coverage provided by the operator, where applicable, will depend on the respective operator and activity.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

If you cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled flight, you’ll receive a refund. However, cancellations made within 24 hours of the flight, or on the day itself, are non-refundable. If the operator cancels your flight due to bad weather, you’ll receive a full refund instead.

What to Expect During Your Pokhara Hot Air Balloon Flight

You’ll be picked up early, before sunrise. Once you arrive at the launch site, the crew inflates the balloon while you watch. Then, you’ll climb aboard the basket for takeoff. As the balloon rises, Phewa Lake and the Annapurna peaks slowly come into view below you. After 30 to 40 minutes in the air, the balloon descends gently for landing back in Pame Valley.

He took me to different settlements, introduced me to monks, showed me how the Tibetan carpets are made, and even got me a consultation with a Tibetan medical provider. I had the most amazing experience with Tibetan Encounter last April. I wanted to book a tour lastminute, and even though I was the only guest for that time slot, they arranged the tour for me. Thupten showed me around Tibetan monastries and villages, and told me so much about the Tibetan communities in Nepal that it dazzled me. He was very honest and straightforward, and I found his view on Buddhism very interesting. Also, it was an amazing experience to be able to talk to a buddhist monk, and try all kinds of Tibetan food. I did the “Morning Tour” which ment I got the full experience visiting two Tibetan villages. The guide was very knowledgeable and explained each stop in detail. Visiting the locations alone or with a large tour group would definitely not provide the full experience. On the day my tour was the Tibetan doctor was unable to reach Pokhara due to travel disruption. However the guide himself was able to explain the topic himself and answer all our questions so I didn’t feel as if I missed anything.
