Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pokhara to Kilyu, then trek to Ghandruk (1,940 m)
Drive: 2-3 hours
Trek: 2-3 hours
Start your journey with a scenic drive from Pokhara to Kilyu. From there, hike uphill through peaceful forest trails to reach Ghandruk, a charming Gurung village. Enjoy views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Machhapuchhre. Visit the Gurung Museum before settling in for the night.
Day 2: Ghandruk to Chomrong (2,170 m)
Trek: 5-6 hours
Trek through terraced fields and lush forest. Cross a suspension bridge over Kimrong Khola and ascend to Chomrong. The village offers spectacular views of the valley and surrounding peaks. Overnight in Chomrong.
Day 3: Chomrong to Bamboo (2,310 m)
Trek: 4-5 hours
Begin with a descent to Chomrong Khola, then ascend through dense rhododendron and bamboo forest. Reach the tranquil village of Bamboo, surrounded by greenery. Rest and relax in this quiet mountain village.
Day 4: Bamboo to Deurali (3,230 m)
Trek: 4-5 hours
Continue uphill through oak and bamboo forests. Pass scenic waterfalls and breathe in the crisp mountain air. As you climb, the views become increasingly dramatic. Overnight stay in Deurali.
Day 5: Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130 m)
Trek: 5-6 hours
Trek past Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3,700 m) and continue to Annapurna Base Camp. The final stretch offers jaw-dropping views of Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and more. Spend the night at ABC, surrounded by Himalayan giants.
Day 6: Annapurna Base Camp to Sinuwa (2,360 m)
Trek: 6-7 hours
Retrace your steps through Deurali and Bamboo. Enjoy the changing light and perspective as you descend. Reach Sinuwa for an overnight rest.
Day 7: Sinuwa to Jhinu Danda, trek to Kilyu, and return to Pokhara
Trek: 5-7 hours
Drive: 3 hours
Descend to Jhinu Danda and enjoy a relaxing dip in the natural hot springs. Then trek to Kilyu and return to Pokhara by private vehicle. Note: Trek durations are approximate and can vary based on pace, weather, and trail conditions.
